Cut them in half and scoop out the middle. Classic.
Peel the skins off and take a bite. An entirely different texture and taste sensation.
Eat them whole
The skin can be a little bitter. One for diehard fans.
Chop feijoa into vanilla ice cream and refreeze.
With cream and sugar
Cut up. Pour. Sprinkle. Say no more.
Chop feijoa with pineapple or sweet red onion, chilli and coriander and serve with fish.
Try a salsa of feijoa, avocado and Vietnamese mint – good with smoked fish.
Swap the apple for feijoa and add a little grated ginger or dijon mustard for a bit of tang.
