Our local greengrocer had feijoas this morning for a panic-inducing “$5 for 4”. I paused, I really did, but I couldn’t resist because they were the first I had seen this season.

Despite there being a substantial plantation in Queensland, these were imported from New Zealand. There are only three in the photo because I had to eat one straight away as I know I have to share them with my little boy later.
